Israeli Minister Smotrich denies existence of Palestinian people

Israeli Finance Minister Bezalel Smotrich stated that "there is no such thing as a Palestinian people" historically or legally. He said Palestinians would be allowed self-administration at a municipal level for services like sewage and water, with local residents managing their own cities. Smotrich added there would be no collective Palestinian entity, claiming the only thing connecting them is denial of Israel's existence.
