Lebanese journalist criticizes Hamas on October 7 anniversary in Saudi outlet

Tony Bolus, a Lebanese journalist writing for Saudi outlet Independent Arabia, published a post on the October 7 anniversary condemning Hamas. He wrote that Hamas terrorists launched a war by massacring children, women, and civilians in Israel, killing roughly 1,200 people. Bolus stated the group "ignited the spark, then plunged the region into a maze of blood and destruction," but "the fire returned to those who ignited it" as Iranian militia leadership fell and Revolutionary Guards were beaten. He criticized terror groups for calling it "victory, but left the people under the ruins."
