Palestinians claim: 23 Gazans killed by IDF near humanitarian aid center in central Gaza

In an official response, the IDF said: “During the night (Thursday), a gathering of Gazans was identified in an area close to IDF forces. A preliminary inquiry shows that troops felt threatened and conducted warning fire to distance the individuals. Despite repeated warnings and deterrent fire, several suspects continued advancing toward the troops, posing a threat. An aircraft struck and eliminated the suspects to neutralize the threat. We are aware of reports of casualties. The incident is under investigation.”
