It has happened again: days after the death of Father Patricio Alfredo Sánchez Molinari in Ecuador, another video of a cross falling on a clergyman is drawing attention on social media.

This time the incident took place in Colombia, where a priest narrowly escaped serious injury after the cross fell on him as he attempted to bless it.

According to reports, the priest approached the cross inside the church to bless it, but during the act the cross toppled and struck him. Unlike the fatal incident in Ecuador, this case ended with only minor injuries, and the priest was not seriously hurt.

That tragedy unfolded when a large wooden cross mounted behind the altar broke loose and fell on his head during a livestream on social media. His death was confirmed by the local archdiocese, and the incident was captured before the eyes of worshippers.
