Pro-government forces have regained control of the Al-Omari military camp in Dhubab, Yemen, after retaking it from Iran-backed Houthi forces, according to Open Source Intel. The Houthis have launched missiles and drones toward Israel and attacked Red Sea shipping in recent months.
The development marks another shift in control along Yemen's strategic western coast, where pro-Saudi forces recaptured the Bab al-Mandab Strait in early October after the Houthis had seized the waterway in September.
