Qatar's Emir says Strait of Hormuz closure, damage to energy facilities disrupting exports

Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani stated that the closure of the Strait of Hormuz and direct damage to energy facilities in Ras Laffan Industrial City have disrupted a significant portion of Qatar's exports. Qatar supplies approximately one-fifth of the world's liquefied natural gas trade, and any disruption is quickly reflected in global markets and among consumers worldwide.
