The Lebanese newspaper Al-Mayadeen, which maintains close ties to Hezbollah, is reporting that senior sources within the terror organization describe a covert operation to rapidly rebuild the group's strength on both sides of the Litani River, allegedly under Israel's nose.
According to the report, senior figures in Hezbollah claim the organization is executing a comprehensive plan to prepare for the possibility of renewed war, working to restore capabilities at record speed.
The same sources told the paper that the period during which Israel and the United States were focused on Iran, particularly following the "cold ceasefire" announced by President Trump months ago, provided Hezbollah with a window to carry out significant reconstruction of its forces.
The organization, according to these accounts, has been rebuilding capabilities both north and south of the Litani River in Lebanon.
