Rubio says US did not facilitate Flavio Bolsonaro's departure from Brazil

Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the U.S. government was not involved in arranging Flavio Bolsonaro's departure from Brazil. Rubio said they received word of his arrival in the United States, where he previously held a visa. President Trump decided to allow him to enter the country. "We were not involved in any of the arrangements he made in terms of leaving. At least the U.S. government was not involved directly in any of the moves that were made," Rubio said.
