Rubio says US reached agreement on Greenland ensuring NATO security interests

Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated that the US has secured an agreement on Greenland that will exist in perpetuity, protecting American and NATO security interests. Rubio emphasized Greenland's strategic importance for national security, particularly regarding Arctic defense and missile protection. "We think it's a very positive deal and one that I think gave us what the president was most interested in and that is protecting not just the national security of the United States, but the security of our allies in NATO and in North America," Rubio said.
