Soroka Hospital Update: Severe damage, 80 wounded
The Iranian strike on Soroka Medical Center caused severe damage to essential infrastructure, including gas, water, and air-conditioning systems. Shockwaves also damaged nearby buildings. Eighty people were lightly wounded. The hospital is currently closed to new patients except for urgent, life-saving cases. About 300 patients remain hospitalized, representing roughly 26% of Soroka’s total capacity. The public is urged not to arrive at the hospital unless absolutely necessary.
