Turkey preparing military deployment to Saudi Arabia to protect key sites

Turkey is preparing air defense systems, pilots, aircraft, and combat troops for deployment to Saudi Arabia with the mission of protecting Riyadh, holy cities, and energy infrastructure. Ankara seeks to avoid direct involvement in Yemen. A Turkish official confirmed that technical teams, air defense, and electronic warfare systems were already sent last year. A limited special forces element is expected to follow pending parliamentary approval at the end of the month.
