Turkey to maintain military presence in Syria and Iraq until border security achieved
Turkish Defense Minister Yasar Guler stated that Turkey will keep its forces in Syria and Iraq until full security is established on its borders and throughout the region. Ankara will reassess its military presence in both countries only after the security situation improves.
