U.S. Health Secretary RFK Jr. delivers remarks on Israel, Arab world, and antisemitism
U.S. Health Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. spoke about Israel and the Middle East, calling Israel's development "a miracle" and stating that "the real genocide in the Middle East was against Jews." He claimed Arabs produce few scientific achievements despite numbering 500 million, attributing this to the Muslim Brotherhood. Kennedy said Israel transformed land without oil into a high-tech powerhouse while neighboring countries did not. He described the Muslim Brotherhood's ideology as centered on "hatred of Jews, hatred of America, and hatred of all Western civilization," seeking to impose Sharia law under a Caliphate. Kennedy argued antisemitism among the Muslim Brotherhood predates Israel's establishment, stating they view Islam as being in "a cosmic and existential war against the Jews and Christians." He noted the absence of Jews in Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, Libya, and Algeria, calling this "the real genocide in the Middle East."
