Benjamin Netanyahu: If Hezbollah tries to rearm - we'll attack them

Prime Minister Netanyahu gave a statement today (Tuesday) to the public defending his decision to bring a ceasefire proposal before the cabinet to end fighting in the north, in the face of opposition from multiple corners.

Netanyahu stressed that Israel would not only attack over every rocket fired but also against any violation of the agreement - including trying to rearm and resupply to prepare for an attack on Israel down the line.

The Prime Minister also said that given that Israel faces a seven-front war, the country has had to decide to carefully focus on any given front given the danger it presents - whether in Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Iraq, or Iran.

Netanyahu further said that Hamas has not only lost most of its leadership but also 20,000 of its soldiers, while Hezbollah "is not the same Hezbollah," as it has lost most of its leaders, much of its rocket arsenal and a great deal of its terrorist infrastructure in southern Lebanon and elsewhere.
