During a discussion that took place today (Tuesday) in the Health Committee of the Knesset, the representatives of the Ministry of Health who escorted the returnees from captivity revealed that Hamas gave the released abductees tranquilizers and vitamins so that they would appear happy in the eyes of the world at the time of release.

The chairman of the health committee, Yoni Mishraki, stated in the committee that the Ministry of Health should publish a detailed report to health organizations around the world about the medical findings discovered following the return of the abductees.

Shir Siegel told the committee about what happened to her mother in Hamas captivity: "My mother came back with testimonies, I'm not able to hear them. I need a psychologist to come and sit with her and hear the stories, I can't."
