Iran’s UN Delegation Responds to Trump: “Liar” and “Cowardly Threats”

Responding to President Trump’s statements, Iran’s UN delegation issued a scathing reply: “No Iranian official was ever asked to walk toward the gates of the White House. What’s more despicable than Trump’s lies is his cowardly threat to assassinate Iran’s Supreme Leader.” They added: “Negotiations will not be imposed on Iran. Peace will not be forced—certainly not by those who incite war. Iran will match every threat with an equal threat, and every action with a reciprocal step.”
