Avichay Adraee, the IDF’s Arabic-language spokesman, shared a post revealing the operation’s name in Arabic: "الأسد الصاعد" — “The Rising Lion.” The same name is used in English: Operation Rising Lion, echoing the biblical Hebrew phrase “עם כלביא” — symbolizing Israel rising like a lion to defend itself.
