Khamenei Advisor: Trump Misjudged Iranian Public’s Resolve

Ali Larijani, a senior advisor to Iran’s Supreme Leader, said Donald Trump’s past messages to the Iranian people backfired. “He underestimated the depth of public hatred toward him,” Larijani stated, adding that instead of sowing discord, the pressure unified all political factions — even parts of the opposition abroad — in support of Iran’s armed forces and the defense of the homeland.
