DF and Shin Bet Destroy Weapon-Making Facilities in Balata as Part of ‘Iron Wall’ Op

As part of Operation Iron Wall in northern Samaria, IDF forces and Shin Bet agents carried out a wide-scale counter-terror operation in the Balata area of Nablus this week. Acting on precise intelligence from Shin Bet and Military Intelligence, Israeli forces—including troops from the Samaria Brigade, the Israel Prison Service’s Metzada Unit, and police special forces—destroyed four weapons-manufacturing lathes and seized two more. The lathes were used as central terror infrastructure, enabling the production of improvised weapons and explosives for terrorists and militant groups operating in the region. The IDF and Shin Bet emphasized that operations will continue to ensure the safety of local residents and the broader Israeli public.
