IAI Unveils First Ground-Based Intercept by BARAK Air Defense System

Israel Aerospace Industries (IAI) has released a photo confirming the first successful ground-based operational interception by the BARAK air defense system. The BARAK system is designed to counter a wide range of threats, including aircraft, cruise missiles, anti-ship missiles, rockets, and ballistic missiles. According to IAI, the system is already operational with multiple international clients and features interceptors capable of engaging threats at ranges of 30 km, 70 km, and up to 150 km.
