Israeli Ambassador Blasts UN: “Where Were You When Iran Was Enriching Uranium?”

Israeli Ambassador to the UN, Dani Danon, delivered a scathing speech at the emergency UN Security Council session, defending the U.S. strike on Iran. “The U.S. eliminated the world’s greatest existential threat to freedom, and now the Council meets to condemn them and us?” he said. “Where were you when Iran was enriching uranium and digging bunkers to destroy us? You were silent. You were cowards. You were complicit.” Danon called the recent military action “the final line of defense,” warning that a nuclear Iran would be a “death sentence.”
