IDF Says More Strikes Planned After Targeting Tehran Sites Including Evin Prison

Following Israeli Air Force strikes on military and regime-linked targets in Tehran, IDF Spokesman Brig. Gen. Effie Defrin declared, “Our message in these strikes is clear: We have many more strike plans.” He emphasized Israel will continue targeting “any component of the regime that are part of the plans that threaten Israel.” One key target was Evin Prison, described as “a symbol of oppression of the Iranian people” where “enemies of the regime” were tortured and intelligence operations against Israel were conducted. Defrin stressed the strike was “pinpoint” to avoid harm to uninvolved individuals.
