IDF Pounds Hezbollah Terror Targets in Southern Lebanon, Dismantles Infrast

Forces from the IDF’s 91st Division continue to carry out defensive operations along Israel’s northern border, targeting Hezbollah operatives and dismantling terror infrastructure in southern Lebanon, under the direction of the division’s Fire Brigade.

Based on intelligence information and the detection of Hezbollah weapons and terror sites in multiple areas of southern Lebanon, IDF troops launched a series of precise special operations aimed at eliminating these threats and preventing Hezbollah from re-establishing its presence in the region.

In one such operation in the Jabal Blat ridge area, reservists from the 300th Brigade located a Hezbollah compound containing weapons caches and firing positions. The terror infrastructure was destroyed.

In a separate mission, reservists from the Oded Brigade (Brigade 9) uncovered weapons hidden in dense terrain near the area of Labouneh, including a multi-barrel rocket launcher, a heavy machine gun, and dozens of explosive devices. The forces confiscated and destroyed the military equipment on site.

Additionally, an underground structure used by Hezbollah to store weapons was discovered and destroyed through an engineering operation carried out by brigade forces.

The IDF continues to act to eliminate threats to the State of Israel and to prevent Hezbollah’s attempts to entrench itself in the border region, in accordance with understandings reached between Israel and Lebanon.
