Edelstein to Present Ultra-Orthodox Draft Exemption Bill Tonight

Knesset Foreign Affairs and Defense Committee Chair Yuli Edelstein is expected to unveil a revised IDF exemption bill for Haredi yeshiva students tonight. The bill follows an ultimatum from Degel HaTorah, whose departure from the coalition now hangs on rabbinic approval of the draft. “We may return to government if the text is acceptable,” said Rabbi Yisrael Kravitz.
