A forest and brush fire is raging between the industrial zone of Har Tuv B’ and Beit Shemesh.
Numerous firefighting teams are operating at the scene to prevent damage to buildings, infrastructure, and surrounding areas, while the police have closed the main road to traffic.
According to the Jerusalem District of the Israel Fire and Rescue Services, fire teams are working to contain the fire between Har Tuv B’ and Beit Shemesh – Route 38 is currently closed.
Firefighting and rescue teams from the Beit Shemesh area are working under extreme heat and heavy smoke conditions. They are focusing efforts on preventing the fire’s spread to buildings, infrastructure, and nearby lands.
The Israel Police have closed Route 38 to vehicle traffic to ensure public safety and allow emergency crews to work effectively.
The public is urged to avoid the area and follow the instructions of security forces.
