IDF strikes Hezbollah targets in southern Lebanon

The Israel Defense Forces carried out airstrikes a short time ago against multiple rocket launch sites belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization across several areas in southern Lebanon. According to the IDF, the strikes destroyed military structures and additional terror infrastructure that had been used by Hezbollah operatives in recent weeks. The presence and operation of the targeted launch sites constitute a violation of the understandings between Israel and Lebanon, the military said. The IDF stressed that it will continue to act to remove any threat to the State of Israel and to prevent attempts by Hezbollah to rebuild its military capabilities.
