"AMERICA IS WITH YOU": Trump Calls for Iranian Uprising

Trump emphasized that the current military actions are a preemptive necessity to protect the American people from a nuclear-armed rogue state: "For nearly fifty years, they attacked the U.S. and chanted 'Death to America' and 'Death to Israel.' They are the world's largest sponsors of terror. Our actions are necessary so we never face a nuclear terror regime." Addressing the recent U.S. combat fatalities, Trump was blunt: "There will likely be more casualties, unfortunately, but we will do everything to prevent them. We will avenge the deaths of our soldiers ... The determination of the United States and Israel has never been greater than it is right now." Trump addressed the citizens of Iran directly, framing the military strikes as an opening for internal liberation: "I call on all Iranian patriots who want freedom: be brave, seize this moment, and take your country back. America is with you ... I promised you something, and I kept it. The rest is up to you, but we will be there to help."
