Two IDF Soldiers Lightly Injured by Explosive Drone in Southern Lebanon

Two IDF soldiers were lightly injured by an explosive drone during operations in Southern Lebanon. This follows  serious UAV attack yesterdays, in which 1§3 soldiers were wounded, some seriously and one killed.

Two IDF reservist soldiers (a fighter and an officer) were lightly injured today (Friday) during operational activity in Southern Lebanon following an attack by an explosive drone. The incident occurred near Moshav Margaliot in the Galilee.

Incident Details and Medical Evacuation

According to the IDF Spokesperson, the soldiers received initial medical treatment in the field immediately following the strike. They were subsequently evacuated to a hospital for further treatment, with their conditions defined as light. Their families have been notified.

Escalating Drone Threat

This incident follows a series of recent security events in the northern sector:

  • Yesterday (Thursday): An IDF officer was seriously injured, and a non-commissioned officer (NCO) was moderately injured by an explosive UAV in the northern border region. Some 10 additional officers were lightly injured in the same strike. Sgt. Liem Ben Hamo was killed yesterday by a Hezbollah drone.
  • Today (Friday): The light injury of two soldiers during operations within Southern Lebanon.
