IDF Chief of Staff calls Lebanon agreement historic, vows to honor terms
The IDF Chief of Staff approved plans for continued operations in the Northern Command, calling the agreement signed with the Lebanese government "historic and significant." He stated that the IDF's operational strength and military achievements in recent months created conditions for the agreement. "We will honor the agreement and work for its success," he said, adding that "the test now is the test of actions by both sides, and the coming period will dictate what the future holds."
