Netanyahu warns US about Erdoğan's calls for Israel's annihilation
Netanyahu stated Israel takes Erdoğan's repeated calls for the annihilation of Israel very seriously and will alert the United States to them. Speaking at a cabinet meeting, Netanyahu said: "Hardly a day goes by without Erdoğan calling for the annihilation of the State of Israel — we take these words very seriously, because if our people have learned one thing from history, it's that when someone says they intend to destroy you, take them seriously." He added that Israel will draw American attention to these statements and is not ignoring them.
