US Secretary of State Rubio threatens to dismantle ICC over court actions

The Trump administration announced sanctions against the International Criminal Court in The Hague, hours after an ICC judge won the Nobel Peace Prize. Secretary of State Marco Rubio stated: "Either the International Criminal Court puts an end to its threats, or we will put an end to its existence." He added that the U.S. expects allies who are ICC members and rely on American military defense to "rein in this rogue court," warning that if they don't, the U.S. will continue its campaign to dismantle the court "piece by piece, until it no longer poses a threat to Americans."
