A newly constructed bridge in China has quickly become the world's premier extreme sports venue, drawing some of the planet's most daring athletes to attempt BASE jumps from 625 meters above the Beipan River. The dramatic footage from these leaps offers a breathtaking glimpse into one of the most challenging feats in adventure sports.
The jumps took place at the Huajiang Canyon Bridge in Guizhou Province in southwestern China, which towers 625 meters above the river below. The bridge opened to vehicular traffic on September 28, 2025, and within days became the centerpiece of an international extreme sports competition.
