Israel's weather forecast for the coming week shows a brief respite before challenging conditions set in. Temperatures are expected to dip slightly, offering relative relief from the heat, particularly in mountainous and inland areas. However, starting Monday, the country will experience an extended and extreme heat wave, according to the Israel Meteorological Service.
Sunday will bring partly cloudy to clear skies, with a slight decrease in temperatures and heat stress, especially in the hills and interior regions. Temperatures will return to near-seasonal averages.
On Monday, temperatures will begin climbing again, becoming slightly warmer than usual in the mountains and inland areas, though coastal regions will remain more moderate.
Tuesday through Thursday will see continued above-average heat in the hills and interior, while the coastal plain maintains more bearable conditions.
Friday is expected to show no significant change.
