X suspends over 13,000 accounts linked to Iran, Russia and China influence operations

X has suspended more than 13,000 accounts connected to three suspected foreign influence operations tied to Iran, Russia and China, the company's Global Affairs team announced. The networks employed inauthentic accounts to post and amplify content related to US politics in advance of the 2026 midterms, targeting candidates and public figures across the political spectrum.
