Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu gave an interview to Galei Yisrael radio in which he addressed security threats ahead of the upcoming elections and issued a stark warning to Iran and any other adversary considering action against Israel during the vote.
Asked about the possibility of an Iranian attack on election day, Netanyahu acknowledged the threat exists but delivered a blunt message: "If Iran makes this mistake, it will be the last mistake they make. Literally."
The Prime Minister clarified that his warning extends beyond Iran to any actor who might attempt to disrupt the elections through violence. But he stressed that even if the election period passes without incident, Israel's campaign against the Iranian threat is far from over: "I am warning our enemies: do not be mistaken about us. Whether they attack or not, we need to remove this threat permanently. We have done a great deal, we have carried out a historic transformation here."
