BREAKING: Israel Rejects Hezbollah Inclusion in Iran Peace Talks
Israel is firmly rejecting any diplomatic attempts to link a ceasefire with Iran to the ongoing military operations against Hezbollah in Lebanon.

Israel has officially notified its allies and the international community that it will not allow the fate of Hezbollah to be tied to any potential diplomatic agreement with the Iranian regime. A senior security official stated on Wednesday that Jerusalem is determined to achieve a total "decoupling" of the two entities, ensuring that the war in Lebanon continues until Hezbollah is completely dismantled. This policy is a direct response to Iranian efforts to create a "linked equation" where attacks on Israel would only stop if the IDF ceases its operations in the north.
Panic and Pressure in Lebanon
The Israeli security establishment has identified a growing sense of "panic" within Hezbollah’s command structure. The group is increasingly realizing that its patron in Tehran is currently too battered to provide any meaningful protection or military assistance. Israeli officials are adamant that the "hope for salvation from Tehran" is a total illusion. The current military objective is not just a ceasefire, but the total destruction of the underground tunnels, weapons production sites, and missile arrays that Hezbollah has spent decades building in southern Lebanon and the Dahieh district of Beirut.
In addition to the military pressure, Israel is holding firm on its "Red Lines" for any future regional agreement. These demands include the total cessation of Iranian funding for all proxy groups, including Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis. By refusing to let Hezbollah hide behind a larger diplomatic deal with Iran, Israel intends to use the current war as a "strategic lever" to permanently disarm the group. As the U.S. continues to exchange messages with the remnants of the Tehran regime, the message from the Israeli government remains clear: the war in Lebanon will only end when the threat to the northern border is removed, regardless of what happens in the halls of diplomacy.
