The Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) has released a definitive data report summarizing the first two weeks of Operation Lion’s Roar, which began on February 28. The figures paint a picture of a devastatingly effective campaign by Israel and the United States to neutralize the Iranian threat. According to the data, the joint coalition has struck over 13,000 targets across Iran, leading to a near-total cessation of the regime's offensive capabilities. While the war has seen hundreds of missiles and drones fired toward Israel and its neighbors, the strategic damage inflicted upon Iran’s infrastructure has led to a 90% drop in launch frequency in just fourteen days.

Regional Impact and the Toll on Iran

The report highlights that the Iranian regime did not focus its aggression solely on Israel. The United Arab Emirates was the country most heavily targeted by the regime, absorbing 309 missiles and 1,600 drones. Other nations, including Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia, and Turkey, also faced varying levels of attack. In response, the IDF conducted 4,700 sorties to hit 7,600 targets, while U.S. forces struck an additional 5,500 locations. These operations successfully wiped out six military airfields, 16 transport aircraft, and over 150 air defense systems. The U.S. Navy also achieved a massive victory at sea, destroying 90 Iranian ships and submarines, effectively ending the regime's ability to threaten global shipping lanes.

Decapitation and Tactical Success

Beyond the hardware, the human cost to the regime's command structure has been immense. In Iran, 48 high-ranking officials have been eliminated, while in Lebanon, over 380 terrorists have been killed, including 15 senior commanders. The report notes that about half of the ballistic missiles fired by Iran were equipped with cluster munitions, designed to scatter bomblets over civilian areas. Despite this lethal technology, the 90% drop in launches proves that the coalition is successfully "breaking the machine." In Lebanon, the IDF has hit 1,100 targets, focusing specifically on the elite Redwan force. These numbers confirm that the combined military pressure is achieving its goal of dismantling the Iranian axis of terror piece by piece.
