However, 28% of the public say Israel makes little or no effort to prevent civilian deaths — this figure climbs to 42% among opposition voters, but drops sharply to just 7% among coalition voters.

Since the war began, the phrase “There are no innocents in Gaza” has become a recurring refrain in Israeli public discourse. Singers, soldiers, former hostages, and politicians — including MK Boaz Bismuth and Avigdor Lieberman — have echoed similar sentiments.
The survey suggests that despite international criticism, Israeli public opinion remains hardened on the issue of Gaza. While the intensity of agreement has shifted slightly over recent months, the overall consensus has remained stable.
