Senior Hamas "Colonel" Among 8 Eliminated in Gaza Vehicle Strike
Eight Hamas terrorists, including a senior "Colonel" serving as the Rapid Response commander, were killed in a precision airstrike on Salah al-Din Road in Gaza.

Security forces continue their relentless operations to dismantle terror mechanisms within the Gaza Strip. Recently, a significant targeted assassination was carried out in the central Gaza Strip, where an aircraft struck a vehicle carrying several Palestinian officers and police identified with Hamas.
According to reports from Gaza, eight individuals were killed in the strike. Among the dead is Iyad Abu Yusuf, a high-ranking figure in Hamas's security apparatus. Abu Yusuf held a rank equivalent to an Israeli Colonel and served as the commander of the organization's "Rapid Response" unit.
The precision strike was carried out on Salah al-Din Road, the Gaza Strip's main traffic artery, near the entrance to the town of Al-Zawayda.
Military analysts view this as another blow to Hamas's command and control capabilities in central Gaza, part of an ongoing effort to systematically target the organization's mid-to-senior leadership tiers. Footage from the scene shows the vehicle was completely neutralized in a highly localized strike.
