Two Israeli civilians were seriously injured and another sustained light wounds Thursday morning after an explosive drone launched by Hezbollah struck the Rosh HaNikra parking lot near the Lebanese border.

The IDF Spokesperson confirmed that the drone fell within Israeli territory, causing immediate casualties. Emergency medical teams evacuated the wounded to a the Galilee Medical Center for urgent treatment.

The military issued a sharp condemnation following the strike, labeling the attack a "blatant violation of the ceasefire understandings" currently in place between Israel and the Hezbollah terrorist organization.

The strike marks a significant escalation in tensions along the northern border during what has been a fragile cessation of hostilities. Security forces remain on high alert in the area as the IDF evaluates its response to the breach.
