Residents of the northern Israeli border town of Kiryat Shmona have received automated threatening phone calls from Hezbollah, warning them to leave the city immediately.
The recorded messages, which began circulating on today, include statements such as:
“Leave the city, it’s ours.”
“This is a warning. Evacuate the city while you still can. The city belongs to us.”
Some versions reportedly added more menacing language, including threats that Hezbollah would decide residents’ fate upon arrival.
Israeli media outlets, including Channel 15 and i24NEWS, confirmed that multiple residents received the robocalls. The messages are part of a psychological warfare campaign by the Iran-backed Lebanese terror group.
