The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have released new documentation showing the elimination of 11 terrorists in Beit Hanoun. According to a statement from the IDF Spokesperson, the terrorists were located inside a tunnel and eliminated by an airstrike.
The IDF and the Israel Security Agency (Shin Bet) have been operating in northern Gaza to destroy remaining terror infrastructure, eliminate the last members of the Hamas battalion in the area, and demolish the underground tunnel network.
Last week, forces from the Northern Brigade, led by the 99th Division, launched a targeted operation based on intelligence. The mission focused on the "Kasbah" area of the city, believed to be the last stronghold for the remaining terrorists. During the operation, ground forces, with assistance from the Shin Bet, intelligence, and observation units, directed an air force strike on terrorist targets, including tunnel shafts and a significant underground route.
Following the strike, the bodies of 11 terrorists were found in the tunnel, including several in command ranks. The IDF stated that forces are continuing their search and will continue to operate to protect the citizens of Israel.
