The IDF and Shin Bet conducted a major operation in Gaza, eliminating key Hamas military figures including the organization's anti-tank unit commander and a Nukhba terrorist who participated in the October 7 massacre.
Among those killed were:
Kamal Abd al-Rahman Awad, head of Hamas's anti-tank array, who was directly responsible for advancing anti-tank and anti-infantry operations against IDF forces throughout the war.
Ahmad Tabet, head of a weapons production workshop described as a critical "knowledge center" for the organization. Tabet was responsible for manufacturing complex munitions used to fire at Israeli cities.
The strikes also targeted Ahmad Abd al-Fattah Magdalawi, a Nukhba terrorist from the Nusirat Battalion. According to intelligence, Magdalawi was among the terrorists who infiltrated the Nova music festival during the October 7 massacre. Results of the strike against him are currently under review, though Israeli officials hope this represents another case of accountability for the massacre perpetrators.
