" This is Just the Beginning": The Massive Scale of the IDF’s Offensive Against Hezbollah
IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has warned that the war against Hezbollah is only in its opening stages, as Israeli forces prepare to deepen their ground invasion and isolate the terrorist group.

IDF Chief of Staff Eyal Zamir has issued a stern warning to the leadership of Hezbollah, stating that the current military campaign in Lebanon is "only the beginning." During a visit to the Northern Command to approve new operational plans, Zamir emphasized that once the campaign against the Iranian regime is concluded, Hezbollah will find itself "alone and isolated." The Israeli military is now preparing for a significant deepening of its ground maneuver and air strikes, following an orderly plan designed to push the terrorist threat away from the border and ensure long term security for the residents of northern Israel.
Severing the Supply Lines
In a move to physically isolate the battlefield, the Israeli Air Force targeted a central bridge over the Litani River today. This strike was specifically intended to disconnect southern Lebanon from the rest of the country, cutting off Hezbollah’s logistical supply routes and preventing the flow of weapons and additional terrorists into the combat zone. By destroying these strategic crossings, the IDF is creating a "contained" space where it can operate more freely to systematically dismantle the terrorist infrastructure. Over the past several weeks, the IDF has already hit more than 2,000 targets, including dozens of weapons depots, and has neutralized hundreds of Hezbollah terrorists.
General Zamir noted that Hezbollah made a "grave mistake" by choosing to join the war against Israel as a proxy for the Iranian regime. He clarified that the efforts in Iran and Lebanon are intertwined, with Iran remaining the "main effort" while the northern front remains a critical theater of war. The Chief of Staff made it clear in closed discussions that the military must not stop now, as the goal is to create a permanent change in the security reality of the region. "We are ready for a long campaign," Zamir stated, affirming that the IDF will continue to strengthen its forward defensive lines while maintaining a relentless offensive pressure on the ground.
