Al Sharaa's True Colors
Al Sharaa is Letting Islamic Jihad Quietly Build a Military Stronghold in Syria
Shadowy alliance emerges: Islamic Jihad builds a military presence in Syria with Al Sharaa's full knowledge. The group eyes a base against Israel under U.S. strike restrictions, mirroring Hamas-Hezbollah ties in Lebanon.

Palestinian Islamic Jihad (PIJ) terror group is rapidly fortifying its military presence on Syrian soil, focusing primarily on Palestinian refugee camps around Damascus, according to an exclusive report revealed Kan News' Reshet Bet.
Sources informed Kan News that PIJ has intensified its efforts in recent weeks to establish key military hubs for its armed wing in Syria. The group views the country as a strategically advantageous base for operations against Israel, citing an unofficial U.S. prohibition on Israeli strikes within Syrian territory.
Further details obtained by Kan News indicate that Syrian President Al Sharaa's (Also called Al Julani's) regime has appointed a dedicated envoy tasked with maintaining direct communication with PIJ's leadership. Damascus is fully aware of the buildup, which could potentially pose threats to Israeli targets in the north if activated.
This development parallels Hamas's deepening ties with Hezbollah in Lebanon, as first reported by Kan News on Monday. Hamas has dispatched entire platoons, comprising hundreds of military operatives, to strengthen Hezbollah's elite Radwan Force.
Hezbollah's decision to integrate a substantial Palestinian contingent stems from its weakened military capacity following prolonged clashes with Israel.
Meanwhile, Hamas is significantly expanding its operations in Lebanon, ramping up rocket production and broadening its military structure, with activities concentrated in the cities of Tyre, Sidon, and Tripoli.
