Against the backdrop of Israel's preparations for the distribution plan in Gaza and given the images of chaos and looting in the Strip of aid trucks, Palestinian networks reported today (Sunday) that Israel is operating a group of armed Gazans to secure the convoys.

According to Palestinian claims, a new organization established by Yasser Abu Shabab, a Gazan Bedouin from the south of the Strip who is wanted by Hamas for robbing aid trucks, operates in coordination with Israel to secure the entry of aid trucks in the southern part of the Strip - Rafah, Wadi Gaza, and Khan Younis.

According to the reports, the organization established by Abu Shabab is called the "Counter-Terrorism Mechanism" and includes more than 200 armed men under Abu Shabab's command. Hamas claims that he is operated by Israel.

Abu Shabab's armed gangs often operate in proximity to Israeli forces (100 meters) and with their logistical assistance. According to Palestinian claims, Abu Shabab has a long history of drug trafficking, and in the past was suspected of having connections with the ISIS terrorist organization.

According to Palestinian claims, last year, Abu Shabab's militia seized a fuel truck and set it on fire to block roads and prevent aid deliveries. The militia's activity contributed to worsening humanitarian conditions, especially in areas facing severe food shortages.
