Ten Lives in Sixty Days—If Hamas Believes a Ceasefire Can Hold
8 Living Hostages: New Details on the Qatar Proposal
Qatar has proposed a high-stakes deal for the phased release of 10 living Israeli hostages over 60 days, during fragile negotiations between Hamas and Israel.

According to a report by Moriah Asraf, Qatar has proposed a new framework that includes the release of 10 living hostages in two phases.
The Qatari proposal currently under discussion (Wednesday) between Hamas and Israel, offers the release of 8 living hostages on the first day and 2 on the final day (day 60). This follows Hamas’s demand for guarantees that Israel will not violate the ceasefire.
According to the report, the bodies of deceased hostages will be released in several phases throughout the truce. In addition, negotiations to end the war will take place “in good faith” during the ceasefire, with personal guarantees from Trump and the White House for the stability of the truce.
A senior Israeli official stated: “Israel has responded with several amendments.”
