Israel’s military censor has reportedly ordered journalist Michael Shemesh and Kan News to urgently remove comments made by opposition leader Avigdor Liberman regarding discussions on Iran, a move that has added to the mounting drama surrounding his statements.

Speaking to Arye Golan on Kan Reshet Bet, Liberman revealed that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu convened a small cabinet last week focused on Iran. “I have an estimate of what the discussion was about,” he said, “but I will not share it with the listeners. I only suggest being in close proximity to protected spaces.”

Liberman added, "If they had listened to me, the 7th of October wouldn't have happened."

A senior Israeli security official sharply rebuked Liberman’s remarks, saying, “Liberman is sailing through space like a UFO that has been separated from its mothership, cut off from all contact and information, and is emitting uncontrolled rhetoric. His attempt to scare the Israeli public on the issue of Iran in order to get attention, as part of the struggle for prominence among opposition leaders, is both pitiful and worrying.”
