The Israeli Air Force carried out a series of intensive airstrikes across Iran on Tuesday, targeting ballistic missile launchers, radar installations, and air defense systems in western parts of the country, according to a statement from the IDF.
The strikes, part of the ongoing Operation Rising Lion, reportedly focused on strategic military infrastructure. "Israeli fighter jets struck numerous ballistic missile launchers and related facilities," the IDF said. The military also confirmed earlier attacks against Iranian radar systems and air defenses in the same region.
At the same time, Israel intensified its aerial campaign in the Iranian capital. Multiple explosions were reported across Tehran, with eyewitnesses describing heavy smoke billowing from the Al-Mahdi area in the city’s north. Israeli warplanes reportedly struck dozens of high-value targets, igniting fires and widespread panic.
