In a deeply emotional and defiant ceremony, Hananel Gez, husband of the late Tse’ela Gez (HY"D), affixed a mezuzah to the doorpost of the first home built in Bruchin South, just meters from the site where Tse’ela was murdered by a Palestinian terrorist.

The event was attended by the head of the Samaria Regional Council, Yossi Dagan, the rabbi of the Bruchin community, and hundreds of local residents who gathered to honor her memory and reaffirm their commitment to building and thriving in the region.

“Tse’ela could move mountains: only she could make something like this happen,” said Hananel Gez as he completed the sacred act of placing the mezuzah. “We are blessed.” Dagan echoed his sentiment, declaring, “I say to our enemies: you have no idea what kind of people you’re dealing with. Our revenge is Zionism: we will build even more.”
